Documentary film directed by Joaquín Jordá and Núria Villazán, based in Egas Moniz's biography, a Portuguese Nobel Prize. With the participation of Canal Plus España, TVE, TV3, Canal La Sept Arte France and Germany and RTV Radiotelevisao Portuguesa.

Subsidized by the Ministry of Culture "for his cultural and artistic content". Shooted in Portugal, Spain and USA.

· Ciutat de Barcelona Award to the directors and producer of the movie “for the courage of his cinematography, unknown in our production”.
· Best Spanish Movie Award Critics and Writers Association 1999.
· Sant Jordi Special Award to Jordà for his career.
· First Prize: Week of Spanish-French Cinema in Burgos year 2000 for “the courage on the topic treated and the originality of his approach”.
· National Culture Award from the Generalitat of Catalonia, year 2000.

· Honourable Mention: National Onda Awards 2000, Cadena SER.
· Nowadays it's part of the audiovisual art works of the MACBA collection.

Despite being a documentary, box office was among 42.000 viewers.
